How we work

Two companies, two tenders.

Tender us the drayage, the Ontario lanes and the Quebec runs. Setara Transport does not run beyond those lanes. Each company takes its own tender.

On cross-border moves, customs is arranged through a licensed customs broker partner.

Ontario carrier, CVOR-registered. The registration certificate, the company details and the tax forms are in the carrier packet. Compliance desks can go straight to Compliance and documents or ask for the packet.

Shipper questions

What shippers ask before they tender.

What do you move?
Container drayage from both intermodal ramps, GTA full-trailer pickup and delivery, dry van and reefer truckloads on Ontario lanes, and loads from Ontario into Quebec. We do not haul LTL or partial loads. Road freight is full truckload only. Multi-stop distribution centre runs are welcome when the trailer leaves full.
Where do you move freight?
Across the GTA and Ontario, and from Ontario into Quebec. Setara Transport does not run beyond those lanes. We are based in Vaughan, Ontario.
Do you run your own trucks?
Yes. Loads tendered to Setara Transport move only on Setara Transport trucks. If we cannot cover one, we say so when it is tendered. The rule in writing is on the brokers and forwarders page and in the carrier agreement.
How do we set you up or request capacity?
Tell us the lanes, the equipment and the volume through the form on this page. Dispatch sends the company details, tax forms and service agreement your vendor setup needs. Brokers and forwarders can request the full carrier packet instead.
How is customs handled?
Customs is arranged through a licensed customs broker partner. Setara never files an entry.
